Graeme, I said a hot "bath" not a hot tub! Just saying...

More rain since I LAST typed so we are now up to 2.5 inches in two days and we're supposed to get more rain overnight.

As with any repair job, the church drywall project has now extended to replacing taps in the bathrooms and kitchen...wonder how many more jobs the congregation can find?

There's always jobs to be done it seems :)

Our renovation project continues. The walls have been straightened and supported. Now - some drywalling needs to be done - and further repairs to the kitchen.

We're hoping to move back in early September. If we don't get to move back then - we may go kookoobananas.
 
The jobs I'm suppose to be supervising are the minor ones - new paint (inside and out) and carpet aren't on my list.
 
K-days parade today. So with a long period with limited rain of course we got it pretty good today!

Here, today would be a good day to stay somewhere air conditioned. Humidex could hit 40.
 
It was already 20 when the dogs and I bounced into the car and down to the lake at 6 a.m. (Air conditioning? We manage with ceiling fans, and not moving much later in the day.)
 
Today I shall pave some more ... lay down the stones ... smooth out the whey ... or as the sun is milked ... a yelloe bricj rhode?
