I hope it goes well chemgal. I had fun getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at once, but I was only 22 I think. I was knocked right out and whatever else they gave me was "weeehoo!" when I woke up I was having a good time. :) afterwards, in the following days, my gums ached a bit and a looked like a gopher - huge cheeks. All in all it wasn't so bad. Back then, I was told to put whole cloves in the holes. I remember there were stitches, but then, big holes for a bit, for pain relief and help healing. And orajel I think. And I took Tylenol after the good stuff, whatever it was, wore off.

I fell asleep on the couch 3 hours ago and woke up. Now I am awake and afraid to go to bed (more comfy there) because I might wake my husband up and he has to get up before 6. He can't be tired for work. So until I get sleepy and crash here on the couch again for a bit ( when my husband gets up we'll switch places), I guess I'll drop in and be last.

My grocery cart is typically filled with fruit for me and not-so-healthy choices that mom insists I buy for her.

I hope it's that easy. There are bad stories in my family when it comes to getting them removed. Things like missing 2 months of school - and that's without the high risk factors.

Jae,
Does "sporting" only go on occultly ... in the trees under the Shadow? Could explain God in the darks of E' din ... chaos!

Ok I had 2 wisdom teeth removed. One at a time. I went back to work after the first one-at the Health Unit. The nurses sent me home. I threw up. A stitch came out. was back at the dentist and all was well the stitch wasn't needed-the throw up turned out to be the flu. Next tooth-a friend was in town, so after having the tooth out I spent the rest of the day on horseback-a glorius ride with a wad of cotton in my mouth. No use going to work as they'd send me home but I felt fine and just drank (milkshakes/smoothies) my next 2 meals.

Okay that's the LAST thing I expected to read...Meh.

Oh...Mendalla I was just reading how nasty chimps can be...some chimp families that were studied in Africa. No wonder you don't want to tick them off.

Yes, it's been an interesting thread all day today. Almost as interesting as that long-awaited dinner conversation will be... hint, hint
