The loaf is worth making again! :) And with different nuts. I froze half (hopefully it freezes well) for future meals. I modified the Company's Coming recipe slightly as I didn't want to use as much salt so this is what I did...

4 large eggs - beat till frothy

2 cups of milk
2 tsp ground sage (recipe called for 1 tsp but I like spicier)
1 tsp salt (amount I used)
beat milk, sage, salt into eggs

add 2 cups dry bread crumbs and 2 cups chopped walnuts (or other nut) and mix well. Turn into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake uncovered at 350F for 40 - 45 mins. Slice to serve.

I have no idea how much the cauliflower cost. My Best Beloved does the shopping nowadays. His ideas of what to buy and when differ from mine.
Ideally, it's best to get from the Hutterites around here - nice large heads for a decent price. I haven't bought any from them since before mom died.

Cauliflower soup is on my list - as soon as I can get my hands on some that doesn't cost an arm and a leg or two
I used to dislike Cauliflower -- I thought it looked gross, like a plant excess growth

Since I moved here tho, now I like it :3

A local made soup she called "Inner Child", which made me think of as Interpretative Soup a la Interpretative Dance -- when I asked what it was she said everything you loved as a child

So I said mmm, peanutbutter, strawberry jam, mac and cheese..

It was lovely and hearty

Rice noodles and cauli and carrot and garlik and celery and other nice veggies

MMM MMM MMM AMMMMMEN

 So do you wear masks when you're out and about on days like that? I'd almost be reaching for a KN95 or something.
No, not on moderate dust days. On bad dust days, though, yes for sure.

As an aside - when I just tried to reply to you, I got a popup saying that cookies are used on this site, so I have to change my phone settings to accept them. But when I tried again to reply, no issue. Strange

Weird. Logged in users should actually not be getting that since registered members accept cookies as part of accepting the T&C. That should only show when you're not logged in. I certainly don't see it on this site unless I'm switching between this account and my admin account.

Toronto! I first thought as I glanced this morning at our TV screensaver
LOL, I know that city. Yeah, at first glance, the Oriental Pearl can look a bit like the CN Tower. There are some distinct differences though. It has two "balls", one at the bottom and one higher up instead of the CN Tower's single structure at the bottom of the antenna. I have been in one of those tall office buildings near it, the one with the rectangular "hole" near the top. It's the World Financial Center.

(For those not in the know, that's Pudong, the new part of Shanghai.).

A docu-concert? So a documentary about the band with a cover band performing the songs live (or something like that)?
