The most consistently good restaurants are Japanese. I've eaten in Japanese restaurants just about everywhere except japan. And I've never found a bad one.

There was a nice one in Hamilton my Yobo and I visited a couple of times when we lived there. Excellent food at a reasonable price. There's also a very expensive one in Sault Ste. Marie. We walked out of that one after seeing the prices.

I especially like the traditional ones where waitresses take off the man's shoes. Then you sit on a cushion to eat. At the end, the waitresses help the man to his feet, then kneel to put his shoes and and lace them. Women are pretty much on their own.

I eat vegetarian so will probably outlast all the folks who eat raw fish and need food servers to help with getting their shoes on and off.

The best restaurants of course are Korean barbeque. Nothing beats that.

Still need to do my income tax...on the other hand, another paper has been finalized and sent to the printer and they are going to give me a credit for the last issue as it was software glitch at their end.

Taxes can wait until the last minute, especially if the paper is calling.

Hopefully my Yobo now has her forms. Then we can take hers and mine to our accountant this week or next. It's nice having our own accountant - not having to do them ourselves or by way of a tax conglomerate.

Haven't done taxes yet. Chemguy does them for his parents, so they usually buy the software for us. He'll probably make the trip down there sometime this month.

While you are all bragging about your virtue in paying taxes, I occurs to me that I don't know the deadline. Any thoughts?
I'm still missing some major receipts - including income.

It varies if you owe the CRA applies retroactive penalties. If the government took to much they never work out their own penalties and apply retroactive penalties.

I'm --- so --- hungry. 1300 calories is all I give myself each day. The result? In just five weeks time... I'll still be obese.
