moving from a discussion of fine dining to one about Pr.'s foot problems seems a little distasteful, even disgusting. Unless, of course, someone has a recipe for foot.

Jae,
You're hoofing it off for sole repair ... now that's a travelling attempt ay understanding lesser tiers ... bottom line?

Getting new insoles will :) be good for my feet and for my soul. Afterwards, I will solely allow Graeme to buy me some sole fish in Seoul.

I'm picking up orthotics today, no doctor involved unless you count the prescription from my GP though.

I hope :) they will be the ideal fit for you ChemGal. The last pair I got were not a good fit for me, and I still experience so much pain at times.

I trust this place, so I expect they will be. My LAST pair are more than 5 years old, but I was happy with them until they started breaking down. Chemguy got a pair there too - which completely stopped his pain, it's never so simple with me! They will also make adjustments on them if I'm not happy.

Are you trying out a new place this time?

I went to a place here that was recommended by a friend before going to my current place. They were just going to correct my fallen arches, without bothering to watch me walk, they didn't check out tightness I had, etc.. I paid for the appointment, but said at that time I didn't want to order orthotics - he was super pushy that I should have been ordering them right then and there. They also sent the orders out, so no adjustments can be done if you're not happy. I'm so glad I tried out a second place!

Can you please send me the name of the place in a wondermail?

Ordered up new orthotics today. The chiropodist who I consulted with told me that the last place I had gone to had sold me orthotics given the nature of my foot problems. He said they were too flimsy, especially considering my obesity, and had probably been good for about six months before giving out. Oddly, he didn't mention that I'm last.

Do corn plasters come in under orthotics or just odd religious humour since many stoics will not accept pleasure under any condition ... especially if the pleasure is someone else's corn?

last and no need for orthotics and am on my way moving from obese to overweight.

That's great to hear Tabitha. I'm on my way as well. I'm so hungry, but I'm on my way. This Sunday we're going to Mandarin to celebrate my middle son's birthday. That will be a real challenge.
