Ontario got hammered again today, though I didn't notice any of the freezing rain they warned us about so may not have been as bad as expected.

I feel that we had a touch of freezing rain here in The City, just before the snow started to fall.

We had whiteout conditions most of yesterday in Central AB...still have the gusting winds today.

-36 C with windchill here this morning. Warmed up a bit, but the wind was still really cold. Supposed to warm up in a few days. It is March . . . and here one never knows what March is going to bring.

Well March it always comes in with a lion.

Bethanne, if you're seeing two pictures of yourself, perhaps you should cut down on your drinking.

Down here, driving is very difficult because very, very high snowbanks go right to the corners. crossing or turning into any street is an adventure is edging ahead with no visibility on either side. And there's a constant danger of cars suddenly appearing out of driveways. You see the front end sticking out into the road - and you know they cannot yet see you.

There's a snow dump a good six or seven storeys high behind the train station. It would be a challenging run even for a very good skiier.

Be good to each other everyone. Always look for the good in each other. Forgive each other when mistakes with words are made. Treat each other with friendship and kindness. Remember the good times and speak with grace.

Yes, they sure do. The eastern seaboard of North America has really taken it on the chin (and on the ground) this season.

I thank Redbaron and Bethanne for their sympathy for our suffering in New Brunswick. Now - shouldn't the Christian thing be to send me money? Give till it hurts. Bless you for your kindness.

Redbaron, there is no scriptural authority, none whatever, for hair dryers and extension cords
Bethanne, I can't go out to expensive restaurants and pay with prayers. And the tip would just be adding insult to injury.

Restaurants? Tips? Doesn't sound like you're suffering much. Unlike me, as I'm last!

Oh, being last isn't suffering. It's gracefully accepting a superior standing from those beneath you. That's why, like a Christian gentleman, I accept your placing me in last.
