Quite the opposite here. Low thirties and quite windy. Going to move my office back indoors soon. Have some meetings and worried the wind will create too much background noise.

We had thought this was going to be our LAST night here. Alas, the province is keeping its travel restrictions in place until at least June 15.

I didn't see the details, but it sounded like dining in restaurants and social visits were going to be allowed before travel, seems a bit backwards, especially with the start of camping season, which is a pretty safe COVID activity.

Camping is okay in your own health region. In fact the park here was packed on the long weekend. They are still concerned about the virus travelling from one area of the province to another. My only grumble is that Interior Health and Northern Health are one region. So that means if you live in those regions, you can travel pretty much anywhere in the province except the Lower Mainland (Vancouver, Surrey, Chilliwack, Hope). That part doesn't make sense to me, especially since the infection rate is higher in parts of the Peace Region. We can't get off the island because ferry travel is restricted. Well, there are worse places to be grounded.

Ok, sounds like the regions are a bit different than here? Ie.If the same rule was in AB people in Edmonton and Calgary would be stuck i fairly urban areas. Still, if someone has a campground or cottage in another region that doesn't sound too risky, more of a concern of getting someone who is sick from an srea away from hospital.
