It was nice-ish here today. Bit overcast off and on, but got up to 17, so pooch and I had a pleasant walk this afternoon.

And BA, your quick bread? Looks to me like it needs a bit more liquid, and a bit more of whatever leavens it.

Depends on what you use for leaven. Baking powder does expire, as does yeast, of course, but I don't think baking soda does. Might be time for a fresh jar/can of baking powder.
