I remember those days and pondering the concept of life where medical appointments make up one's social life. One day the LAST regular appointment and life will return to closer to normal
I just assume all the medical appointments are part of what is normal now.

Hmmm...I suspect you're wrong chemgal. I can be a bit "masculine" about not doing proactive stuff, and the pandemic has certainly fed into this tendency.

I certainly don't see an end to them, I'm booked into the summer currently. And more will be made soon.

I'm really glad you've had no disruptions in normal outpatient appointments.

I suspect that it might be a shortage of people who should be doing ordinary follow up stuff that's making it run more smoothly.

Oh there have been disruptions to some. I don't see an end to having a lot of appointments though, that will be a thing for a long time to come, maybe life.

I don't follow We Rate Dogs but my brother and sister-in-law do so I sometimes see them retweeting or replying to them. In fact, sis-in-law replied to that one.
there‘s actually nothing mysterious. I thought the photo was precovid - was thinking it was Christmas before last when nobody was wearing cloth masks with slogans yet - but I was tired. It was actually a pandemic-current photo. It was a covid time warp moment. But it didn’t LAST.

I still don't own a mask...just using disposable ones when I have to. Gearing up for a paper delivery trip...darn time change - I like going out early but this is too early according to my body - which has felt like we changed 2 hours ahead, not just one

I am tempted to get my bike out (sunny, high of 13C) but Mrs. M talked about hitting the trail down by the river for a walk so probably not today. Maybe tomorrow. This weather is supposed to linger until Tuesday.
