LAST, with, fingers crossed, no intent to move to regular doctor's appointments, although I think I need to pay some attention to my eyes.

Our 45 pound retriever/collie cross decided to steal the small, elderly poodle's bed. He wound himself into as small a ball as he could. He got his butt in the bed. It was quite funny. :) Rest both his and the poodle's souls.

Today is the period of St Paddies Philosophy session at a local Pub & Grill ... where we discuss human's Eire ... and making what you can of the mystery of forms on the wall ... abstracts are a utility and thus utilitarian ...

To all ... be us*ful!

Painting from virtual Hawaii retreat is complete! I can't believe I actually painted a woman looking over her shoulder o_O 20x24 - which is also the largest canvas I've ever painted on. I'm pretty darn amazed and impressed with myself! (unfortunately, the glitter doesn't all show up)

That came out pretty well. I should start commissioning you to do cover images for my stories. When I finally write some again.

Nah, most people toss them ;)
Another sign that the times are a changin'. In my childhood uniforms were sold, or given to another child. Some were a very pale version of the original colour- with variegated bands around the hem from being put up and taken down. In the UK the uniforms didn't seem to change from 1910 until some time in the'60's. In my childhood they were like mens' shirts in little girl length with the long detested breast pockets! These were to be stuffed with a notebook, pencil, money for a phone call, a hankie etc.etc..

Alas, they seem to change the uniform every few years so it is getting harder and harder to pass onto other girls. It was amazing how much you could stuff into those pockets

By the end of December 2020, I had:

- homemade cloth masks with ties
- homemade cloth masks with loops
- purchased cloth masks
- acquired two different kinds of mask bracket
- had two different kinds of "ear saver" - with pony-tail hole and just flat
- tried a cloth mask with an acrylic cut out for better lip reading - fail
- branded masks from my workplace (jersey - not my fav - spares)
- theme masks: critters, batman, Christmas
