My cheeseburger pie experiment with walnuts/pecans instead of ground beef worked - if I ever make again I will forget about the walnuts and just use pecans...now, I too am dreaming about the walnut tarts.

Warmed up to minus 4 today, but we are due for snow on Friday and Saturday. Hopefully not too much to shovel. I had a minor surgery on my ear for early stage melanoma yesterday and nurse told me to do nothing strenuous for 3 days. One more thing to last through, I guess.

Ended up being a lovely day - albeit a snowy one - yesterday as I delivered...getting colder and snowier so glad I can stay home today.
