I don't think it would matter. I actually got my "recipe" for my medicated salve from my massage therapist, and she uses it regularly. I'm not sure you could OD on CBD-only, anyway, and the amount of exposure through the relatively thick skin of your palms wouldn't be huge, anyway.
 
I live in a small town - mentioning such things to some people has the power to set off major arguments. So - in order to avoid difficulties, I will ask here. Where would I buy CBD oil? What price can I expect to pay?
 
Your on-line provincial cannabis dealer should have it. You should expect to pay $20-30 for the lowest strength, which is what you'd want to try.
 
Last on a day when I'm slowly tidying up around here. It's kind of a lazy day with some productivity. I'm a little tired, probably from the radiation still. It's not bad though. It is a good excuse for now. :)

Thanks. I have an appointment coming up later this week with one of my city docs so I'll ask him first. Mostly for curiosity's sake as I'm wondering if he has experience with it via other patients.

Sounds like a drifting around doing nothing much of anything day is just what you need right now. Enjoy it.

What about in store?
I'm not going out to purchase any, but if I were to I would prefer to talk to someone face to face.

Depends on your province, I think. Since the feds left regulation and distribution up to the provinces, the systems vary across the country.

In-store is very slow to happen in Ontario. If you need advice, I'd go to a medical cannabis doctor. Maybe. The ones here aren't very good; I know more, lol. For you, chemgal, with your complications from your rare disorder, I think everyone would be pretty "oops, hands-off" if they had any sense.

FWIW, I doubt that trying a basic low-dose CBD oil would hurt you.

Alberta was quite ahead of the curve when it was legalized. They had legal outlets ready to go when it waa legalized. I'm sure @ChemGal would find some in her community.
