One of the members of our church knitting group "unknits" with her two needles. It is more time-consuming than frogging but it seems to work out better. She has tried to show me how to do it but I don't have the hang of it yet. Maybe when knitting group resumes this fall.

Better you than me.

There seriously was a time I thought I might want to study theology in my retirement years but that desire seems to have left me.

My granddaughter was seven when her baby brother was expected. I taught her how and she knit a carriage-sized blanket for him. He had it in his bassinet at the hospital. (c-section - mom and baby stayed at the hospital for a few days). The nurses were impressed when she visited the hospital and told them that she had knit it.

Given the slop that usually passes for coffee in any institutional setting, including campuses, missing your Keurig is no surprise:D.

Not sure if Little M has found a good source for whole bean coffee in Ottawa yet though I know he needed filters for his Aeropress (forgot to bring them) and found a cafe that sold them. That's how he found his current coffee source here in London (came for the filters, stayed for the beans).

Maybe we need a dedicated thread or forum for knitters, though so far LP seems to be doing the job well.

What I like about the LP thread is that it's more of a free-for-all. Some of the regular Room posters sound rather poopy to me at times. The Room to me is like a grand salon where the elegants and elites are discoursing. The LP thread is the kitchen where the cool cats hang out.
