I have had no hail this year; I have, however, had an absolute abundance of snails.

Very hot sunny day...niece and I set up a pretend art show so we could sort what I've completed, what I'm keeping, and what I want to sell...she wondered if she'll get her favourites of the keepers when I die - told her it might be sooner. We also played a computer game that she taught me that she played in school all the time - it is challenging to keep up!...we were also out in the sprinkler for a bit.

Sometimes I wonder, sadly, if this 'community' isn't some sort of example that we can't do it. That it's impossible. That another self-consciousness should get the opportunity of stewardship of gaia.
