I'm old enough to remember when paper clothing was an actual thing. Not for very long, however.

Some fashion designers have some nutty ideas.

I recall a couple of times hearing about something called "edible underwear," but I never understood why someone would want such a thing. If you first eat them, how can you then wear them? And if you first wear them, bleah, why would you want to eat them.

Lasting after a tiring week. Did a 35 km bike ride today and feel like I did 135 kms. Maybe next week can get out for a real ride without being tired.

I had the pan-fried cod and bakeapple cheesecake for desert.

Beautiful here, as well. I was down at the lake by 6:15 throwing sticks for the dog, then we had a nice long walk. Heading off this morning to pick up my son from his dad's and take him to my godfather's cabin in the woods for an overnight visit. Nice day for a road trip. LAST at being LAST for a day or so, as my internet access (and tools to do so with) will become rather limited.

Sis and niece here this morning to help with mom...I did a little show & tell with my projects...niece was impressed.

Project status update:
- knitted dress: 1/3 complete
- knitted sweater: just over 3/4 complete
- knitted bikini: top half complete, bottom 2/3 complete
- knitted cupcake: 3 done and need stuffed
- crochet bathing suit: done!
- crochet sweater and dress for niece: both half done
- crochet slippers: 1/4 done
- crochet hair snood: still on hold till I find the pattern to finish it
- newspaper bowls: three being painted, two more drying
- canvas: 10th painting started
