Life is funny, at last I'm stopping for the day.I am starting
to feel human and alive again
Hugs...that's a lot to deal with at once.LAST after a long day, with the bad news about Stuart McLean, plus crazydad, and a friend of mine who is essentially being murdered by the state of Florida. Two on-line friends, both of whom I met on the same site 10-15 years ago, different working situations, different states, diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer about the same time some 18-24 months ago. Similar age, similar weight. One has had surgery, chemo, etc., and will probably recover, although she's deeply in debt, but still employed and has a healthy husband who works. The other has been, essentially, through no fault of her own, untreated, and now has a prognosis of 6-8 months. She has a husband with Parkinson's, who will now have no caregiver. I don't get it that we don't call it murder when an institution sentences a person to certain death.

Medi systems don't care Jae ... tis all about the monis ... why republicans despise giving that which goes agin their graces ... thus it went!
You could suggest under certain understandings that they knew no better ... regarding the do and be done clause!
My friend lives in Florida, where they rejected the Medicaid expansion offered under the Affordable Care Act.

She lost Medicaid because her youngest child turned 18, thus cutting off the entire family. She 'lawyered up' late to try to get disability benefits, which apparently late stage cancer doesn't qualify you for...
