@paradox3, if you said the Christ Candle was green
, Jae would say that the Christmas Candle was maroon.

And the pipes can be heard in many parts of Normandy.
Bagpipes are meant to be played outdoors in a light mist - they sound completely different.@Mendalla, I too love opera and the pipe organ. So much wonderful music out there. Too each their own I guess. I suspect my dislike of bagpipes comes from a small church I used to attend that had a piper every year at Rembrance Day services and I found it ear piercing in a confined small building.
Sounds Monty Pythonesque....Bagpipes are meant to be played outdoors in a light mist - they sound completely different.
Very sad that Tom Power is no longer doing the Deep Roots show on CBC radio.
If you need to ask you won't miss it, will you?Who? What show? IOW, meh.
OY! Yes, another deadline is coming up fast...if you could have something to me by Wed. Thanks. All of these ancestry claims are pretentious. As jae knows, we are all descended from just Adam and Eve whose irregular behaviour led them to the hasty invention of the kilt.
Except Scots, of course.
Bethanne - your casual mention of Chautauqua time - does that mean I am called upon yet again? If so, when is the due date?
Last while wishing Tom Power success with Q.If it has gone off the air a lot of other people aren't going to miss it either.
