Don't you bike in the rain?

I used to when I worked downtown, but my employer left downtown for an industrial area and my bike commute is about twice as far so don't really want to be doing it in the rain anymore. I'm probably starting to be a lazy old guy too who would rather be dry on the bus than wet on the bike.

Another night of wild chuckwagon racing in Calgary - saw it's raining there again...we got 1/2 inch today.

Is it just us, or does DVBS prep always have a high PITA factor? This puppy's supposed to launch next week, and the increasing amount of drama is incredible.

We schedule it as early as possible so that the length of the frigging drama is minimized.... You have to accept any volunteer you can get (you should have heard what I did to the music cues in the skit yesterday a.m.), and you have to rely on maybe one or two people to pull all these disparate often disagreeable people sorta together and make them behave. Then 40 or so kids arrive, too many with special needs, it appears, bless their wonderful little hearts, and chaos ensues.

or abstain! there remains the option of abstaining! participate proudly in the democratic process by saying, "meh." you can abstain right on the same survey on which you would vote. don't feeL like voting, "yes?" cAn't imagine that, "no" is the correct reSponse? absTain.

Two good, heavy storms last night so was able to skip watering today. Supposed to be cooler, though still a bit humid, tomorrow and Saturday.
