Thought of younever know yesterday as I rode my bike 15 k on trail and then another 18 k on road to finish the trip around the lake.

Little M put 60k on his crosstour yesterday. London to Ailsa Craig and back, partly on a gravel road. I never did trips like that even in my prime biking days.

It's great exercise Mendalla-helps regulate blood sugar too;)

It's not the furthest I've ridden, just tied with the furthest this year! I'm not ore today so all is well.

Oh, I bike a lot, but 60k is a bit much for me. I do 15-20k tops when I do outdoor biking (I use stationary a lot, too, for various reasons).

Most distance I've done on my bike was 10 km in my teens.

Sun came out so was able to take the tarp off the sale and dry some items...currently pouring again.

Niece and I (mostly I) made a coconut/raisin pudding,cashew/chocolate chip square – not in square yet as we just have the dough, an uncooked Saskatoon tart, and cherry/Saskatoon/strawberry/cashew-macadamia butter yoghurt.

I own a very nice old bike. I used to ride a great deal, and thought of resuming it as exercise for Lucy. However, she doesn't really 'get' bikes, and despite some attempts to correct her, can't be convinced not to turn around and try to 'eat' the front wheel. Should maybe find/buy one of those back wheel hook-ups.

a number of years ago when i worked down on queens quay, i used to ride my bike home from work on friday nights. used to take me four hours to make the trip. that's with a nice stop in the middLe for An ice cream Sandwich. good Times.

According to my bike GPS I have ridden a little over 6100kms since last July. Now if I had done that all at once I could have been in Halifax by now! Oh, by the way, it was rainy today so I took the bus to work instead of riding my bike and the bus broke down so the driver put everybody off and we had to catch the next bus. Sure hope the rain doesn't last. :ROFLMAO:

Send some here. We're in a borderline drought.

Watched the rain and lightning here as I watching it pouring in Calgary during the chuckwagon races - still good racing.

All I've got to say is that I hope your program has more appreciably useful content than the leadership curriculum pursued by many of our administrators here. The vast majority of them couldn't lead their way out of a wet paper bag. Also, LAST.

I'd say two of the three courses I've taken over the last 3 months have had useful content. The third was okay but didn't suit my learning style or something. Just didn't get much out of it.

That said, I'm rather of the opinion that personality is a big chunk of what makes a good or great leader and, since personality is a mix of genes and formative experience, you aren't going to turn someone in the their forties or fifties who has been a s**t leader into Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos with 7 courses. At best, you'll give the middling types some tools to help them do their jobs better and maybe make them mindful of some their flaws and show good ones who may not realize how good they are just what they are capable of.
