Church was better this week than last week. And as a bonus the bike group started up again so had a nice 20 km ride along the river valley after church. Then I rode home and mowed the lawn, which is sort of like Larry and Curlying the lawn but not quite. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk. My last bit of stooge humour for this day.

We alcohol had a god shush verse to. The Actor preached from Expedites. We alcohol had Dominion, curved by our two new Reasons (shish felt a tad cereal).

Mom, niece and I visited 6 greenhouses today - 4 more still to go....mom only went into the first and last ones...and we are under a severe heat warning in central AB.

Huh, I woke up to a chilly breeze whistling through the house; my first steps were to close some windows and put on a pair of socks! Krikey - winter is back for a visit just before summer arrives...

On Sunday I made a strawberry/almond butter (I also added a spoonful of coconut butter) "yoghurt" - it is SO yummy!

Presbytery meets tonight. Nominations for the next year is on the agenda. So far, I've been good about keeping my head down and avoiding eye contact. If my luck can hold out for a few more hours....

I imagine such meetings become cutthroat, with the Strawberry Shortcake Festival Gang duking it out against the Chicken Bouillon Supper Crowd.

Good luck RB!

New post mistress wasn't going to let me sign for mom's parcel even though we share the same postal box...I'll have to look into Canada Post rules cause this will get UGLY if mom finds out I can't sign because she refuses to give me power of attorney.

Chemguy has picked up packages for me. I'm pretty sure it's just proof of address ie. driver's licence that needs to be shown. Maybe it's different if the shipper selected a more secure option though.
