Good morning! This morning is one of 4 or 5 times in the year that the local church makes apple pies for sale.

sunny day here. It was 21 yesterday. Took a lovely walk just above the lakeshore.

Gorgeous here, as well, although not very warm. Had a nice brisk walk outside with co-workers this a.m.

Windy here...painters putting the second coat on. None of the wifi spots in town are working. Think I should go back to bed and start this day over.

Last night around 8 p.m. my sister was driving my car and slowed down for a playground zone. The driver behind her did not slow down and rear ended her. My sister went to hospital in a ambulance and my car was towed to the impound lot. Sister is OK a bit of whiplash was released from hospital and now I am working with insurance and body shop to see if the car can be repaired. Had to use a vacation day from work to try and sort it all out. Hope tomorrow goes better.

All in the axiom ... slow down and live ... the populace doesn't believe it ... and it would be faster to not think and do things emotionally ... thus chi bloes ...

That should be an automatic at fault for that driver (would be in Ontario at least). I see near misses of this type all the time and I'm surprised I don't witness more of these accidents. Too many impatient drivers who won't slow down for anything.
