I haven't been dreaming about Telus so I doubt that. :)
Those would probably be nightmares anyhow. :giggle: I actually no longer have dealings with them. We moved our mobile fleet at work from Telus to Rogers last year. Comes with its own raft of problems, of course. A competent, problem-free Canadian telco would be a sign of the coming Apocalypse or something.

Its autonomous ... like that wee chewing item ... what a bother, raises worries, frets, etc.! Items to apply to the strings ... be des ...

I have seen them (plus beet and parsnip chips) in some grocery stores.
I don't grocery shop much anymore. Wife kind of started doing it alone during the pandemic to minimize exposure risk and we've never really gone back to doing joint shopping trips save the odd weekend when we are out and about for other reasons (we sometimes eat out for lunch on weekends).

A friend gave me some store-bought veggie chips to sample once. I didn't find that they had a lot of flavour, but did check to see how easy they were to buy. Niece and I have tried making them in the oven (didn't really work) so I thought I'd give the microwave method a try - worked better, but still didn't really work.

I have heard of people making them in an air fryer. Haven't tried it myself.

I've had the sweet potato crackers that Costco sells (forget the brand just now) and they are quite good. Haven't had yam chips yet, just sweet potato fries. LAST on sunny but cold day.
Yam chips are easy to make
just shave a yam into thin chips
place on a cookie sheet
sprinkle some oil (not a lot) and season to taste
bake in oven
voila
best homemade chips ever to me
and not deep fried drenched in oil

for @Mendalla

more details on the yam chips from my bro
"420ish 15mins or so then broil for two mins but watch closely"

and since you learn by doing, you'll learn how much oil, what oils, what seasonings, etc you like/don't like
