Kind of the opposite of the UCCan congregations I've been to, then. I find the UCW is much more active and visible in those churches than the men are.
My preference would be to see entire faith communities ministering together. There may be a few reasons in favor of a specific gathering at times, but I'm speaking in general here. Take the Men's Brunch Toda at my church. We had fun, ate good food, and learned a simple but usable method to study the Bible a little more in depth. I still can't see a reason why it had to be gender-specific.

Years ago, the late George Carlin, comedian extraordinaire, did a piece ca;;ed The Seven Deadly Words, words one couldn't utter on American TV or radio in those days. These were the words, he said, that would infect your soul, curb your spine, and keep the country from winning the war.
I'd like to work up a comedy routine for the Seven Deadly Words for the church, but I think it would be more a tragedy than a comedy. Those words would be, "We've never done it that way before."

Anybody who has to live in Elnora should be treated with kindness.

As to activity, Moncton churches are just abuzz with it, carrying on the good work with pancake breakfasts, coffee socials, dinners. There can't be a hungry Christian in the whole city.

La St is hind end when it comes to mindful things that's hynd end ... with no boule ... perhaps a little waddle and weaving ...

Did anyone hear CBC on the laws against owning beef in some Hindu states? Seems there is no freedom of religion when coming to beephs ... ineffable word?

What does non-hermeneutics sound like?

Hermeneutics are like a following ... that's after a thought strikes you (nailed by IT) and if really fundamental ... you don't like to learn anything about consequences! That follows due to logic and reason ... something religiously oppressed contrary to kohl theories of Freud!

Sort of like that old woman being denied Ur beeph ... what a Þ 'idde ...

A' fore this season ... people couldn't see what was coming ... it was just a 'po calyptic haunch ... a real bummer?

Hermeneutics could interfere with the prior desires ... unless you denied the following ... then there'd be silence in the Utopian Choir ... only an empty howl from no-where's ... dija no that?

Today in church I'm giving a speech on how to lament. What kinds of things do you lament? One thing I won't lament is that I'm last.

I lament how ruagh we are on the neighbour wile saying we're Christianizing them ... is that the pane of learning or just the smoked glass of heaven ... a dark mire thingy? It too can reflect ... like polished Ba Salt or metaphorical onyx ... thus one is one nyx'd with the Dark Prince ... the subtle side of wisdom?

The authorities hated Machiavelli for publishing authoritative schemes for controlling de maas esse!

Well, having to give a speech when you just slept in and didn't have time to get breakfast is something to be lamented. I mean, it looks so silly to nibble on a chocolate bate while you're giving a speech. And you might lament the callous treatment this group has given Kimmio for saying she was last. The only one to point that out her lack of lastness in a gentle and Christian way was me.

Thank you Graeme. That leaves a "last-ing" impression on me.

So...today I'm literally going to be walking in someone else's shoes. I found a great pair of much needed nearly new shoes at Value Village yesterday for $12. I hope they last.
