Actually he should have stuck with teaching and not gone into ministry.

And the two are not mutually exclusive. Rather than being an ordained minister, he could have taught at a Christian school or taught in a public school and run the Christian group (IVCF or whatever it is called now). He would be doing a form of ministry and leveraging his aptitude for teaching. But, as Jae says, it comes down to the call and the minister's ability to discern that calling.

Others - such as the church or school - should be sensing the call as well. I also believe that there's a "call within the call" - example, @revsdd has been called to be a minister. His call within the call is to pastor his particular church.

In the state of pragmatism ... all should be part of the concern ... but a lot of realists don't deal with such utilitarian concepts as thoughts are out of the field of spirits and emotional blasts ...

They can't even connect prayers, aspirations and profound thoughts ...

Sometimes in forums such as these, a hurting individual will ask for prayer for one thing or another. While some posters will respond that they're going to pray for them, others will reply that they're sending out "positive thoughts" or "good vibes."

Alas ... I've been told by authoritative ministers that profound thought does not approach prayer and thus thinking men are dangerous to sols!

Then this could be a conflict building concern for rhetoric and propaganda as false journalism ... then what would the common people know in such a field of lies from corrupt authorities in 3 fields ... business, monarchy and church ... but in church all can buy admonitions from whatever as ex Hilo ... a Cyrillic variant of the icon for eta ... etas very chaotic and complex-ng the stuff as it lies there ...

What do ordinary people believe in this sea of po' fax? We know nothing and thus are exonerated ... as having no passion to know ... in which no passion is good as excess ... a point of politic! Tis a prick of sub conscience ... and thus a hint of pre science ... in totality omniscience ... and omnivorous ... we'll swallow and digest this crap ...

It is a trend as what is expected by dangerous thinkers as chit eaters ...

Thus giving the commonality of scattered thinkers ... it is out there ... beyond the opinion poles !

while quite cold, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be so trip to the city for appointments went well.

That's very possible. Too often Christian leaders and/or their churches see working with youth as a step-up to working with adults. In evangelical churches, youth pastors so often get "promoted" to being senior pastors. In a lot of cases, I think it's kind of a sad thing.
I always assumed younger pastors started out with the youth because they could relate better . . .

Had a fall on the ice today, the parka was good padding so no pains. Ha ha I don't remember the last time I went down. And it was so slick I had a bit of job getting back on my feet again. :ROFLMAO:

Yes ice under snow is bad. I have to learn to walk like a penguin!

This seems to be the winter of the falls...people who rarely fall are dropping too.
I still have some residual tenderness in my back if I move too fast but otherwise I was lucky and didn't get hurt too bad.
