Is Ontario headed for another Wynne win?

Canada needs dental care for everyone. It's a huge predictor of health in other areas. To start by providing a vulnerable group (those under 25) is a place to start, not to finish. The beginnings of a dental plan for Ontario to model for the rest of the country. I heartily endorse it.

Dentists could benefit .. being often the highest paid private businesspeople in the country ...

Unless they were paid a ordinary moderate wage ... not mean but ...

It looks like Ms Wynne's popularity has risen marginally. This began in Sept. when it went from 12- 17%. but she still runs much lower than any premier in Canada! That was in the fall. Maybe now in Jan. with the free dental care for the under 25's, the $14 minimum wage and support of the tech sector makes it slightly less improbable she will lose next spring.

Some of the madness the $14 minimum wage has begun to cause: Tim Hortons heirs cut paid breaks and worker benefits after minimum wage hike, employees say

I hold a radical view that if an employer can't afford to pay a basic wage ($14 is less than basic), they can't afford to be in business. Maybe the business plan should be scaled back.

OS hite that can't be ... will not allow nemesis ... the lady in the dark hoodie ...

Is there only one Tim Hortons doing this or are there more? If so, I'm taking my coffee business elsewhere.

Tim Hortons doubled their profits last year and also own Burger King.
As I understand it, it's only the one in Cobourg. It's getting lots of attention because it happens to be owned by a married couple - the son of Ron Joyce and the daughter of Tim Horton, who co-founded the company. They're extremely poor. They're spending the winter at their Florida home and can't afford a telephone call to respond to enquiries from the media about this.

I rarely go to Timmie's anymore. The coffee is warm dishwater and the food looks 350% better in pictures than when you actually get it. As for the taste - I did try their new grilled cheese a while back. The cheese had no - nada - zero - flavour. Awful.

C'mon over to Canada's best coffee. :)

I have to agree, during December McDonalds coffee was on for $1 for any size. The cups were better insulated and the coffee tasted better and was kept warmer and every sixth cup is free if you keep filling your coffee card.....I will probably go there, unless I hear that they are pulling a Tim Hortons.

re the grilled cheese- REALLY awful, mine went in the nearest garbage. Don't think the crows would relish it either.

Maybe it is the association with gated communities down there ... St. Pete on once side and the alternate (advocate) on the other's Ide ... isn't that a dervish ... when the wind blows through it ... but they do not conceive of the consequences of impoverishing gains ... the bottom line fails and no longer retains chit, chad and other fishy fetches ... thus implosions ... collapse of Cos Mos eis ... thus the other side of the abstract veil ... parallel conceptions that support clash!
