Doug Ford wants to save the party from the "elites". Who is going to save the party from small-time drug dealers and scam artists like Doug Ford?
 
Interim leader Vic Fedeli, after initially saying he would seek the permanent leadership, has back away from that.

Interim Ontario PC head bows out of leadership race to focus on fixing 'rot' in party

He also pretty much confirmed that all hell is breaking loose in the PC party.

So, that leaves Ford as the only declared candidate though I'm also hearing buzz about the executive, now that Rick Dykstra is gone, backing out of the decision to have a race and letting Fedeli take them into the election as interim leader.
 
I have a really bad feeling about this. It rings of Clinton/Trump and we all know how that went.
 
Ford Nation doesn't give a crap that Doug used to be a local drug dealer "allegedly" and by reputation. In fact, that will make them admire him (an "elite" if there ever was one) more.

I'm not too concerned aboot that; politics in Canada being allowed to be "boring" (Canadian?)
Spectacle is unpatriotic *waggles eyebrows* and Canadians don't seem to have a very strong universal uniting myth besides "we arent like our loud and boisterous sister up there..." :p
Tho I see sombunall Canadians trust their gov't waaay too much and seem to think that their way of life is how Canada will always be...when herstory shows...

I disagree ... I don't trust anyone in politic 'n ... a rhetorical effort based on who lies the loudest ... and thus collective BS! Humanity regarding politics and extremes is way off ... the way-out opposes ... another one goan ... in another tradition that's Joan ... sometime mistaken as Saint John that's right ... tis ain't as appears ... ink arnate (alternately adnate when r=d; research can redevelop the immersed thoughts, thus pop-ups)? A' JAX ...

Doug Ford will be the next leader of the Ontario PCs. I can feel it in my gut.
