There are basically three quinessentially American styles of music: Jazz, Blues, and Rock'n Roll (R&B could be argued to be a fourth).

I like all three, but the first is probably my favorite right now. So ....

Three of the greatest American musicians right there: Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, and Dizzy Gillespie.

I think you could add bluegrass to that trio.

And, really, C&W, which evolved out of bluegrass and other folk music forms, belongs on there, too. Yeah, I overstated a bit.

Recipie for bean dip
Collect from yer garden (best) or forage in da supermarket
15.5 oz refried beans
1 Tsp chili powder
1/2 Tsp cumin powder
1 Tsp garlik powder
1 cup black olives
1 cup sour cream or plain yoghurt
1 cup shredded cheddar
3 green onions sliced
1 tomato chopped
Fresh cilantro

Now like a brave archeologist in reverse

Mix beans, chili powder, cumin and garlik in bottom of serving bowel
Make layers with sour cream then more beans then sour cream (as many as ewe want)
Add to top olives n green onions n cheddar n chopped cilantro

Other options:
Humuus (easy to make easier 2 buy)
Or guac (easy 2 make easier 2 buy)
Spicier option: Jalapeno peppers either mixed with sour cream yoghurt or on top

Serve with taco chips and veggies and enjoy
