I don't think I will ever become tired of Elf on a Shelf

I wasn't sure what to say. Is the funny thing supposed to be that the elf is pooping chocolate chips onto cookies, or that he is doing so while his pants are still up?

Yesterday I was shopping for a birthday card in a local shop. A woman came in and I overheard her ask the clerk if they sold Elf on th Shlf. When the clerk responded in the negative - I was very happy to be shopping in that store.

I don't much like elf on a shelf. He's creepy. This is the first year I've heard of him. It's a bit sick for a holiday supposed to be about love and joy and peace and goodwill, IMO. Something suited more for grown up Halloween not kid's Christmas.

Santa may be a Coca Cola vision but he's a nice old grandpa figure rather than a twisted imp.
