Absolutely ... is that resolve-ante, or justly dissolved absolution? Like a risen old salt from the arid pool!

What a pickle to get into when leaving the abstract zoans ... that become goans as spirits ... in an ethereal way ... a bit Eire!:ROFLMAO:

Always bring some sunshine in a depressing domain ... just to full-phil the law with some heat ... can warm the Kohl-est heart!

Even if they don't know it ...

The above quoted book, "Initiation, Human and Solar", continues on with one of the best descriptions I've ever read regarding the difference between the words knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

“It might be of benefit to us also if we studied first the difference or the connection between Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom. Though in ordinary parlance they are frequently interchanged, as used technically they are dissimilar.

Knowledge is the product of the Hall of Learning. It might be termed the sum total of human discovery and experience, that which can be recognised by the five senses, and be correlated, diagnosed, and defined by the use of the human intellect. It is that about which we feel mental certitude, or that which we can ascertain by the use of experiment. It is the compendium of the arts and sciences. It concerns all that deals with the building and developing of the form side of things. Therefore it concerns the material side of evolution, matter in the solar systems, in the planet, in the three worlds of human evolution, and in the bodies of men.

Wisdom is the product of the Hall of Wisdom. It has to do with the development of the life within the form, with the progress of the spirit through those ever-changing vehicles, and with the expansions of consciousness that succeed each other from life to life. It deals with the life side of evolution. Since it deals with the essence of things and not with the things themselves, it is the intuitive apprehension of truth apart from the reasoning faculty, and the innate perception that can distinguish between the false and the true, between the real and the unreal. It is more than that, for it is also the growing capacity of the Thinker to enter increasingly into the mind of the Logos, to realise the true inwardness of the great pageant of the universe, to vision the objective, and to harmonise more and more with the higher measure. For our present purpose (which is to study somewhat the Path of Holiness and its various stages) it may be described as the realisation of the "Kingdom of God within," and the apprehension of the "Kingdom of God without" in the solar system.

Wisdom is the science of the spirit, just as knowledge is the science of matter. Knowledge is separative and objective, whilst wisdom is synthetic and subjective. Knowledge divides; wisdom unites. Knowledge differentiates whilst wisdom blends. What, then, is meant by the understanding?

The understanding may be defined as the faculty of the Thinker in Time to appropriate knowledge as the foundation for wisdom, that which enables him to adapt the things of form to the life of the spirit, and to take the flashes of inspiration that come to him from the Hall of Wisdom and link them to the facts of the Hall of Learning.

Perhaps the whole idea might be expressed in this way:
Wisdom concerns the one Self, knowledge deals with the not-self, whilst the understanding is the point of view of the Ego, or Thinker, or his relation between them.

In the Hall of Ignorance the form controls, and the material side of things has the predominance. Man is there polarised in the personality or lower self. In the Hall of Learning the higher self, or Ego, strives to dominate that form until gradually a point of equilibrium is reached where the man is controlled entirely by neither. Later the Ego controls more and more, until in the Hall of Wisdom it dominates in the three lower worlds, and in increasing degree the inherent divinity assumes the mastery.”

Sometimes, I wish this world we live in would stand up and remind the Humans that every law, every religion, every country with a border, all the creations of Man that are not aligned with the immutable natural laws take us farther away from the Truth. That Truth has always been and will always been. It unites everything with everything. Physically and spiritually.
If you measure all the things we humans devise that actually divide us - from each other - from the planet - from the universe - you will find that human thought too often turns to action that is morally indefensible in Natural Law.

An enormous conflict between words and deeds is prevalent today: everyone talks about freedom, democracy, justice, human rights, about peace and saving the world from nuclear apocalypse; and at the same time, everyone, more or less, consciously or unconsciously, serves those values and ideals only to the extent necessary to serve himself and his “worldly” interests, personal interests, group interests, power interests, property interests, and state or great-power interests...So the power structures apparently have no other choice than to sink deeper into this vicious maelstrom, and contemporary people apparently have no other choice than to wait around until the final inhibition drops away. But who should begin? Who should break this vicious circle? Responsibility cannot be preached but only borne, and the only possible place to begin is with oneself.

I return to a fresh glass of wine, Aurora overhead, to hold Humanity's worst and best close to my heart. We are each a part of all.

Yet creation allows distance ... so that thought have room to expand over that comment in Exodus 20:19 about God's people whishing to know nothing ... or at least little about everything (which's God)!

This does allow for holes in gravid domains ... for the emotional to blow through (ST Paddy) whitch's in auld Gael an ancient foul-Ayre ... souring on the winds and thus sulphurous fallout from piles of exploding fecundity ...:)

"The following," says Volney, "is conceived to be the primordial basis and physical origin of all justice and right; whatever be the active power, the moving cause that directs the universe, this power having given to all men the same organs, the same sensations, and the same wants, has thereby declared, that it has also given them the same rights to the use of its benefits, and that in the order of nature all men are equal.

Secondly, inasmuch as this power has given to every man the ability of preserving and maintaining his own existence, it clearly follows, that all men are constituted independent of each other, that they are created free, that no man can be subject, and no man sovereign, but that all men are the unlimited proprietors of their own persons.

Equality, therefore, and liberty, are two essential attributes of man, two laws of the Divinity, not less essential and immutable than the physical properties of inanimate nature. Again, from the principle that every man is the unlimited master of his own person, it follows that one inseparable condition in every contract and engagement is the free and voluntary consent of all the persons therein bound; further, because every individual is equal to every other individual, it follows that the balance of receipts and payments in political society ought to be rigorously in equilibrium with each other; so that from the idea of equality, immediately flows that other idea, equity and justice."

Again, the same author observes, that "there existed in the order of the universe, and in the physical constitution of man, eternal and immutable laws, which waited only his observance to render him happy. O men of different climes! Look to the heavens that give you light, to the earth that nourishes you; since they present to you all the same gifts; since the power that directs their motion has bestowed on you the same life, the same organs, the same wants, has it not also given you the same right to the use of its benefits? Has it not hereby declared you to be all equal and free? What mortal then shall dare refuse to his fellow-creature that which is granted him by Nature?

O nations, let us banish all tyranny and discord! Let us form one society, one vast family; and since mankind are all constituted alike, let there hence fore exist but one law, that of nature; one code, that of reason; one throne, that of justice; one altar, that of union."

Greeting and Salutations...

There is the delightful play of fools seeking only a slight brightening of the passing moment by which the observant may catch glimmers of one divine human being in the world as radiant beneficence.

We seem nothing more or less than an impulse to or from truth. Following the inclination leading from truth we enter the manifold realm of error, where powers compete with powers in the service of power; for the sake of power. The utter nonsense, from a sense point of view, revealed in the imagination and construction of temples for the holy. As if the wind could be caught in a net!?

Towards the center from the circumference we move into the realization of our singular origin, being and purpose. This follows each and every turning from any particular radius pressing outward the circumference. Turning from outward to inward inclinations and determination.

Ahhh.... the riddling of words passing through time in space.

Is UnDefinitive correct on mis-formation of thoughts as authoritative information that is really po' lye formed?

Such is the nature of truth as scattered in pain of the Binary Operator of Soul ... a divine thing of which portion is really out-there!

If I couldn't laugh there would be nothing to do when considering the information spread by corrupt authority! Just consider that raised in Ottawa ... or if Northern Lights bored and ogre'd ... look soude ... wit' gross "concern" ... once known as "an" and thus "an" is orphaned as indefinite participle ... moor orl ess indeterminate until it alters ... Cos 've Moe Logos thingy! Things not easily dug by common faces ... facetiae? Maybe un-facilitated by firmly formed intellect (that witch is said to be environmental or around us; out-deire in colossal ribbing/Rueben as ephemeral and in-flighty sensation)?

I did state at one time that "in" is an old expression for contained or negative ... thus buried emotions that form as bursting forth of hostile thought formations ... when thoroughly oppressed by non-Freudian thinkers that disbelieve the formation of mind as a friable thing.

The Hebrews used to Eve of Shabbat Dais to put the weekly scattering on odour! Thus some Christians enlightened on h' mus in the nature of pew ... the stinking ghoe-st! Such humorous things are hard to take ... ay least for those raised on pedestals beyond the face of hard learning curves. Can a soft life provide fat heads with substance of poly-isoprene? Such is a fatty acrylic matter floating on the 80% water in-betwixt duh ears!

The stuff we don't know is substantial ...

Do thoughts erupt as emotive curses that some authorities say are agin emotional ideals held by authorities on what we shouldn't know? Thus people with minds suffer a blessing and curse ... a binary operator ... divine humus?

Although democracy is the best method we have yet come up with to govern ourselves, it is doomed to fail unless and until we discover ourselves as the representatives of the greater whole that we ultimately are.

So far the vast majority of us are thinking and acting from the viewpoint of the egocentric individual. Concentrated egocentricity then becomes manifest at the top level as the will of the people. Presently it is even worse: A powerful capitalist oligarchy are dominating the people and influencing the will of the people in their favour.

The end of egocentricity, particularly at the top level, is what we humans need to strive for. We need to become aware of ourselves as unique representatives of a greater, unified whole, and think and act on behalf of the whole rather that the interest of the separate, egocentric individual.

Those of us who don't mind God language could denote "the greater whole" as "God." But it works just as well without it. Cosmic consciousness and responsibility works--with or without invoking the name "God."

Right on!

Is this biblical like the ideal of not knowing (right from wrong or what little is left)? Thus the thesis on the remnants from the 5 loaves and something fishy ... a lot of needy Ness?

There seem to be several people here that promote the truth of Natural Law. It is a cool story that doesn't need draggins (or dragons). It is easy to be angry at all the `True Lies' that we Humans have created. It is hard to be at war, and while there may be no such thing as a `civil' war, this is a war nonetheless. Survival and betterment of the species are the spoils of victory. For me, encouraging is preferable to enraging. The harmony, peace and improvement of the species are better represented in calm words and actions. Those who lead well, lead by exam, Paul.
Did I just quote Luce? :)

"As the physically weak man can make himself strong by careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts can make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking." - James Allen (1864 - 1912)

Seems to me it should be fairly easy to spot a false religion.
Would they not be the ones who:
  • deny the truth even when shown they are wrong?
  • call judgement and condemnation love?
  • bind others to rules that they don't keep themselves?
  • refuse knowledge with a stiff neck?
There are lots of ways :)
