My old home town, Lumby BC, has just opened its first co-op store, the Monashee Co-op. It sells local seasonal organic produce, bulk organic produce from farther away, as well as locally made arts, crafts, and products. Also commercially made organic foods. It sells at cost, and relies on volunteers.
