Does Faith in God Support War and Killing Civilians?

Ongoing widespread student college protests across the US that are constantly shown over the airwaves is daily bad publicity for Biden in an election year.

The start of Israeli bombing and closing of humanitarian aid to Rafah, a city of 1.5 million, is probably another factor for Biden's support for a ceasefire.

If a ceasefire were to be accepted by Netanyahu, he could lose control of his political coalition and his position as prime minister. So he complains to the American congress to put pressure on Biden to allow him a freehand in Gaza to keep starving and killing, mainly civilians.

The Biden administration is due to deliver a first-of-its-kind formal verdict this week on whether the airstrikes on Gaza and restrictions on delivery of aid have violated international and U.S. laws designed to spare civilians from the worst horrors of war. A decision against Israel would further add to pressure on Biden to curb the flow of weapons and money to Israel’s military.

In the past few days, a ceasefire was proposed. Hamas agreed to the terms. Netanyahu rejected it. I do not know what he objected to, but it seems he wants the war to go on. He could have stopped, at least temporarily, but didn't. That says something about him.
It does say something about him for sure. I thought I heard that there was something about the terms he didn't like....but I don't even know what the terms were ..do you?

I do not know the details, alas. But someone mentioned above that he was afraid he would lose support for his government. That may have been excuse enough for him.

Some philosopher once declared that all is chaos ... thus the extensive stirrings ... it goes round!

There has to be something hidden deep in the myth of what ever was in tent! --- A Brae Ham ...

The day Netanyahu loses power is the day his criminal prosecution by the Israeli court starts moving again.

Well we see how thats working with trump. Lol
The difference being that Netanyahu isn't an elected executive president, he's a prime minister in a Parliamentary system. So he could be removed by his party or would no longer be PM if his party lost an election (or got unseated by maneuverings in the Knesset since they are propotional so all governments tend to be coalitions).

The most recent West Bank poll shows that 83% of Palestinians think the October mass murder of Israeli civilians was justified and 90% want the current more moderate Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas removed from office. From an Israeli perspective there is little difference between Hamas and Palestinians in their anti-Israeli hatred, and so, forcing the enemy out of Rafah need not distinguish civilians from Hamas fighters hiding among them. Most Israelis are secular people; so faith in God is generally irrelevant to their decision.

Interesting that Palestine was called Judea, coming from Judah, in Jesus' time.

Just saying, perhaps he has friends in high places.

Judeans were counter to Samarians ... demos ... detestable thing to the powers (Judae)! Then the bottom line CAT item ... is it dead ... Judean Punch ... down but not out ... it is still there among us ... corruptive power! A vast enigma ... even doubly paradoxical with hanger's on! Weird essences like succubae and the alter ... and then the Blac Kote ... coyotes on the road again ... are experienced females a danger in beauty contests? Consider the stories of who was bit ... she was an ancient lass (in long dark robes)! Blanket effect ... some say these are the demos ... just testing them ... is the bottom line reactive?

Don't push your luck ... the thing could be explosive ... C' osmological view? Lighter ...

Democrats' influence is ultimately fueling Trump;s various court issues. Republicans would do the same thing if these legal situations were reversed.
Whatever the legal guilt or innocence, this is good politics. In fact, despite Trump's polling advantage for the upcoming election, I'm still confident that "the smell factor" of Trump's legal woes will ultimately condemn him to defeat.

Always counter, alter and conflict ... no room for learning in an emotional response ... that's on us! Some say onus!

The struggle, contest, conflict is ide ... out with the cooperation ... that would preclude winnings!

Thus life is a battle until we get over it by going down in flames ... did you encounter an old flame? Dame 'd est item of contention that was not content!

Choose your's ide ... stay clear of the other! Thus the double l as 'ill'd! Jammed between the Wahls ...
