Here we go again, now everyone must leave Rafah because Israel will be invading Rafah and now that border is closed.

Does Israel actually believe that Hamas will remain in Rafah to be killed? Couldn't Hamas just as easily move with the crowds undercover?

The most recent West Bank poll shows that 83% of Palestinians think the October mass murder of Israeli civilians was justified and 90% want the current more moderate Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas removed from office. From an Israeli perspective there is little difference between Hamas and Palestinians in their anti-Israeli hatred,and so, forcing the enemy out of Rafah need not distinguish civilians from Hamas fighters hiding among them. Most Israelis are secular people; so faith in God is generally irrelevant to their decision.

In the past few days, a ceasefire was proposed. Hamas agreed to the terms. Netanyahu rejected it. I do not know what he objected to, but it seems he wants the war to go on. He could have stopped, at least temporarily, but didn't. That says something about him.
