Money talks? Follow the money? Is the Federal Reserve Left or Right. Is the Usury system Left or Right. Are the Billionaires Left or Right. Are the impoverished Left or Right? Class struggles ... Left or Right?
Mostly, the worst of it is a result of the political right wing mucking up what could be a good thing and not cooperating, out of greed and bigotry...leading scores of people to the belief that it’s about freedom, when it isn’t.
If the world could cooperate on agenda 2030, it would be a kinder world. Unfortunately, it probably won’t.
You don’t even vote, in the part of the world where you live.

Everything I do voluntarily is my vote, in the part of the world where I live.
So not voting in elections from your municipal level, up, is your choice to opt out of deciding what happens to the world’s resources, then.
UN delegations who put ideas on the table are formed by regular people from around the globe. Nations, including their governments at all levels, can opt in or not, to listening to those collective voices being brought forward. People do vote on who, what party or leader, is raising those collective concerns -or not - and honouring, or not, the voices brought forward when resolutions are made by the UN. Sometimes, those collective voices lead to common law precedents that favour those most vulnerable in the world...that’s why the UN Charter exists. It’s all voluntary participation, and starts at the grassroots level...so what’s your problem? Those who corrupted it, dishonoured it, or ignored it, come from the money=speech camp.

I talk to my closest neighbors ... most of them voted ... none of them got what they voted for to hear them talk about it but yet we all work well together ... in spite of the 'government' making everything 10 x more difficult for us to do than it should ever have to be.
So are you telling me that the UN then is just there as a prop? So Agenda 2030 is just a work of fiction ... just a bunch of ordinary people volunteering to get together and pretend that they have any influence on world order.
Silly me ... I thought I was supposed to take their Agenda seriously.
