Multiple quote boxes is very easy.

There is a command to start a quote I am going to substitute regular parentheses as example.

(quote=PilgrimsProgress)

Gets the show rolling. Remember [ bracket and ] bracket with quote=source.

Now add the text you are quoting.

End it with the following:

(/quote)

Again use [ bracket and ] bracket with /quote.]

OK, I just used a bracket to close the top part of your post.


[That closes the quote box.

if you try to open a new quote box without properly closing a previous quote box you will need to edit your post and you have limited amount of time to do that.]

Now I'm replying to the second part.


[Every post can take multiple quote boxes and each quote box can bring in whichever source you wish.

If your intention was to split quotes, badly. If your intention was to quote the whole post, just fine.

If one wants to do it though, this is how it should look before posting, although the part between the ""s can be switched up.

If one wants to do it though, this is how it should look before posting, although the part between the ""s can be switched up.
And now here it is where I allow the code to go through, so it appears without all the code.

Haha still had to make an edit - I missed a " and that of course throws everything off - the problem with code. A little typo ruins it.

So you type in the quote tags rather than Copy and Paste them?
 
Either works. You just need to put in extra sets.

Basically, you put an end quote and start quote
 
If any of the mods have nothing better to do, they might move these last few posts to the Tips and Tricks thread...
