The judge declared that invoking the war measures act was excessive and an unfortunate consequence of others, ( the OPP and Ottawa police not doing their job). The protestors committed criminal offenses and the police failed to do their job.
 
The G20 riots were probably led by either off duty police or people close to the police. They did not arrest any rioters but arrested hundreds of peaceful protesters the next day. Neither caused as much harm as the decisions being made by the leaders of the G20

My point in writing that was to suggest that Mark agrees with Trudeau's invocation

Thus, he would.probably do similar in future?

No, but I'm still not sure he was "celebrating". And I don't expect glowing, heavenly perfectionism of my leaders. They're human. Let them be human, but hold them accountable when that humanity becomes a risk or problem. Frankly, I did not vote for the Liberals nor do I ever plan to. That's how we hold people accountable in a democracy, not by slagging them in a discussion forum as WhyCzar seems to think.

The problem is that a corporate atmosphere allows folk to be non accountable or responsible for anything ... in ignorance it takes the entire system down ... the fall of empires!

Also the graphic design is so shouty and bullshitty I think it just looks like a bat signal for them. The worst part is that that style is not meant as a joke - when to me it looks like it should be a farce. So I see it and my brain knows not to take it literally. They don’t see that. It’s not even witty. It’s been going on since the Pepe days.

It’s like a used car lot sign. Loud. Misleading. Ask questions, don’t fall for the bulls**t. Perfect analogy.

In a nutshell, it’s obvious to me that it’s just propaganda is what I was saying.

It’s possible that he pays attention to critique and changes course. It’s possible that he doesn’t. I hope for the former but am also skeptical that it could be the latter.

In adequate observation we may come to the conclusion we don't know what we believed ... it was fey, flighty and took off ... that de mented, or mental or something parallel ... metaphorical? Paranormal that's the word ... like dissonance and Eris! Say it out loud like a preyer ... fal'Kahn?
 
Looks like Carney is going to impose tariffs on the USA after Trump won't let up up and is keeping up with the 51st state rhetoric.....become a state or continue tariffs.
