I’m still pissed that he knocked out the disability ministry/ minister and we don’t know what’s going on with the supposed July rollout of the $200/ mo disability benefit that was promised, or even how to sign up for it (with no dedicated person to answer for it). The bill was passed, the amount was decided, the date was set. Now…crickets.

The Nippon Steel thing goes back a few years and is unrelated to the tariffs. Nippon Steel made a bid to acquire US Steel but Biden blocked it on national security grounds or something like that. He did leave the door open to them taking a stake in US Steel, which Trump has jumped on and supported.Trump has also announced a deal with Japanese company, Nippon Steel to allow them to invest in US steel and partial ownership, with the US Company having more shares.....for now.
