I came across this on FB today:
"Alot of sore losers out there. I voted Conservative and yes I am disappointed. But the world isn't over. Also, this isn't a west east thing, Ontario was divided, Manitoba was divided, BC was divided, only Alberta and Saskatchewan were dominant Conservative. Quebec was triple divided and Atlantic Canada was majority Liberal. This wasn't a division of Provinces but a division of generations, look at the numbers.
Carney isn't Trudeau, regardless of all the rhetoric. This election was very close. The reality is Pierre and the Conservatives blew it in their campaign strategy, plain and simple. The small majority of Canadians are tired of the rhetoric being spewed, that's why we Conservatives lost. Just look at some comments by people, calling people sheep, stupid, idiots....what the hell kind of person is that. Then people saying the election is rigged, good God spare me. Such sore loser BS. Then spewing about Provinces exiting...its like kids in a sandbox who don't get their way. There are huge realities (legal, Constitutional, jurisdictional) to this and if you knew anything of case law, indigineous rights and even looked at the support for this....it isnt even close to a reality and also is another fear spew to create division. Not a reality. Also stating we need reform, reform of what, that one person one vote isn't the way to go? The majority of people live in big cities and their vote is no more or no less important than our vote in the rural area. So I say this, congrats to the minority Liberal Government and now let's bind together as Canadians again, our neighbor, regardless of how they voted, is our neighbor. Grow up and realize that everyone is entitled to their belief and their vote. I don't care who you are or who you voted for. You are my Canadian colleague, my Canadian neighbor, and we are all in this together. Let's NOT become the USA in attitude as they are being ripped apart by bigotry, hatred and steeped in false reality. We are smarter than that.
All I will say, is when the election comes again, I hope our Conservarive Party stops with the rhetoric and poses some real solutions and focuses on unity, represent all Canadians and speak from strength not fear. If we can do that, we will form a Conservative Government. Let's face it, Pierre didn't even win his own riding...that says alot."
