I don't believe in many of the man made doctrines and dogmas that have been derived from the Bible. Whether or not that makes me "a Christian" is irrelevant to me. The real truth lies within, and not in the dead letter. One day everyone will see this. The Bible can only "point" to the truth, the real truth lies within the "spirit" in which the Bible was written, and in most cases should not be read to the literal and dead letter. We need to read the symbolism and the true meaning behind the words.

Thank you chansen. I understand I could use help in that area.What I believe may seem ugly to you chansen. But I believe if you ever get a chance to watch a Surgeon a Dr cut into some one to save them .You may see him to be a butcher. But if they get"s it right They save the life of that person. Dose all medicine taste good? In my belief GOD is doing all He has allowed Himself to do , to save you. The other part is up to you.I can fail and do. You can fail. But when you come in front of GOD you will find . He did not fail He even gave His life here for you and all those you love. For He two is a Father , and would die for His children .

All I'm saying is that the refrain about how these beliefs aren't proper interpretations, is a mute point because they just are interpretations. This is a problem for Christianity, and one that Christianity is reluctant to deal with. It's not that I have anything in common with unsafe and ac33, it's that I don't pretend, to my supposed benefit, that they don't represent a significant percentage of Christianity.
