The thread is about dates in the Bible matching historical dates and not sure how faith entered into this conversation.
Faith is not limited to what your gatekeeping scripture says about faith.
Many people that have no faith in historical accuracy of biblical scripture still have faith in human beings being guided by, for lack of a better term 'holy spirit'. I am one of them - does that qualify me as a capital B believer?
You are the one here that claims to have a 'B'eliever's supernatural guidance when it comes to scripture of the true believers bible.
As to doing my own research - this thread has me scouring the internet reading up on Gnosticism and listening to Bart Ehrman who is a New Testament scholar focusing on textual criticism of the New Testament, the historical Jesus, and the origins and development of early Christianity.
The way he explains the gospel of Judas is very captivating and digestible.
And going forward for scriptural quotations I will reference this website Gospels.net
which is dedicated to extracanonical Gospels – early Christian Gospels which weren't included in the New Testament.
The Gospel of Judas could have been the version of Christianity we became accustomed to - imagine that!

The Great Flood (Gen 6–9).
Humanity had become violent and corrupt, grieving God. He chose Noah to survive.
