Why don't you research it and find out for yourself -----Is the answer to historical accuracy of the Bible?
So the answer is you do not know. Why don't you research it and find out for yourself
the answer is you should do your research on how an unbeliever sees faith in the Bible ----So the answer is you do not know.
Dinosaurs' size, diversity and uniqueness, WhyCzar, point to a Designer who delights in variety and awe.So back to the premise of this thread's opening post.
Are you suggesting that God designed and created dinosaurs, and the fossil record corroborates it?
The thread is about dates in the Bible matching historical dates and not sure how faith entered into this conversation. The Believer's view will be different from the unbeliever's view as to what scripture says about Faith
Which flood would that be?the Flood
Unbelievers, unsafe, won’t grasp faith's true meaning until they encounter Christ.the answer is you should do your research on how an unbeliever sees faith in the Bible ----
The Believer's view will be different from the unbeliever's view as to what scripture says about Faith ----you have stated that you are an nonbeliever in your post on here ==Post 44 I think ---
The Great Flood (Gen 6–9).Which flood would that be?
The Great Flood (Gen 6–9).
Humanity had become violent and corrupt, grieving God. He chose Noah to survive.
God told Noah to build an ark. Noah, his family, and animals were to enter it.
Rain fell for 40 days and nights. Waters covered even the highest mountains. All living creatures outside the ark died.
After 150 days, the waters receded. Noah released a dove, which returned to him with an olive leaf
Ah, the familiar story and its cultural context from the Bible that you subscribe to.The Great Flood (Gen 6–9).
Unbelievers worn't grasp Christ's Faith until they accept a Heart change so they can ingest the Gospel which inbirths Christ's Faith in them ------Unbelievers, unsafe, won’t grasp faith's true meaning until they encounter Christ.
Who is claiming Superiority ----??????? we are all born sinners --unbelievers --away from God ---filthy rags ---who deserve wrath --and Hell -----and who are in need of a Saviour to save us from wicked selves ---the choice is ours to accept the Saviour and be free of our Sin Nature and be Brought back to having Eternal life ---it is a Personal Choice ----there is no superior Believers or Unbelievers ----we all started out the same way ----wicked --and defiledAs believers, we don’t claim superiority.

Christ's Faith is the foundation Now in the New Covenant for us to become Reconciled to God through Faith in His Son Jesus Christ ------Faith's about being reconciled to God.
We know faith as hope's anchor. Things unseen's assurance. Salvation's foundation.
Our calling's to witness boldly
Personally I think the best way to get unbelievers to take note of God is by them observing Godly conduct from Believers -----Slow to anger --takes no offence ----control over emotions ---peace when storms come ----resting when faced with chaos -----letting our light shine before others ---when doing good works give Glory to God -----etcAsk unbelievers to taste and see that the Lord's good
Since you knew which flood I was referring to, why did you ask?Ah, the familiar story and its cultural context from the Bible that you subscribe to.
Euphrates rivers Scholars have long known that the flood story in Genesis draws from earlier stories like the Atrasis Epic.
Beyond the shape of the ark are there key differences between these stories?
What did the ancient biblical narrative change in the case of Noah's flood?
Older than the story of Noah and the biblical flood, the Epic of Atrahasis is a cornerstone of ancient mythology.
Set in ancient Sumeria, this Mesopotamian epic tells the tale of Atrahasis, a man chosen by the gods to survive a flood destined to erase humanity. A captivating myth, where the gods’ wrath, human defiance, and survival intertwine in a tale that has resonated across cultures for millennia. This epic unfolds at a time when the gods, tired of humanity's growing population and disobedience, decide to bring about destruction through disease, drought, and finally a catastrophic flood. Atrahasis, favored by the god Enki, is warned in advance and builds a great boat to preserve life.
What happens next is a story of survival, divine power, and human resilience that has inspired countless flood myths across cultures, including the story of Noah’s Ark.
Your saying “the choice's ours” without stressing God’s sovereignty, unsafe, makes the Good News a consumer option.Unbelievers worn't grasp Christ's Faith until they accept a Heart change so they can ingest the Gospel which inbirths Christ's Faith in them ------

There is only one Superior Person and that is GOD ---

Christ's Faith is the foundation Now in the New Covenant for us to become Reconciled to God through Faith in His Son Jesus Christ ------
Romans 3:22
22 This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son].
Hebrews !1:1
Amplified Bible
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]
Greek word for assurance
Lexical Summary
hupostasis: Substance, assurance, confidence, essence, reality
"under a legal-standing") – entitling someone to what is guaranteed under the particular agreement.
For the believer, 5287 /hypóstasis ("title of possession") is the Lord's guarantee to fulfill the faith He inbirths (cf. Heb 11:1 with Heb 11:6).
Implications for Faith and Assurance
Hebrews 3:14 and 11:1 show that saving faith possesses a substantive character. Believers do not merely cling to ideas; they participate in a present reality that will culminate in sight. The call to “hold firmly” underscores personal responsibility, yet the object of faith—Christ Himself—remains the unchanging foundation.
I agree with this through the power of the Holy Spirit we are to Speak boldly and unhindered Speaking ALL truth about Jesus Christ and His Gospel Boldly----- No sugar coating ---No picking soft scripture----- and putting Hard Scripture on the back burner ----Preach ALL with Boldness ---Confidence ---
follow Paul's Example
Acts 28:30-31
30 And Paul lived there for two full years [at his own expense] in his own rented lodging and welcomed all who came to him,
31 preaching and proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness and boldness, unhindered and unrestrained.
Personally I think the best way to get unbelievers to take note of God is by them observing Godly conduct from Believers -----Slow to anger --takes no offence ----control over emotions ---peace when storms come ----resting when faced with chaos -----letting our light shine before others ---when doing good works give Glory to God -----etc

"Filthy Rags": This metaphor highlights that human effort or religious rituals are insufficient to achieve righteousness or earn divine favor
"Filthiness of the spirit" is a biblical phrase from 2 Corinthians 7:1. It refers to inner, invisible moral and spiritual pollution.
While physical or fleshly sins involve outward actions,
spiritual filthiness affects the inner thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs of a person.
To Choose to Receive Jesus is the only way to Spiritual Righteousness and a return to God -----
Why you bring God's Sovereignty in play here is beyond me there Jaebius -----so explain it to me ----
