Advantage/Disadvantages of being single or coupled

This thread idea was inspired by Kimmio on another thread. There are pluses and drawbacks to both states. What do you say?

• More room for spontaneity in one's personal life since others are not involved (unless one is a single parent)
• No need to accommodate other's tastes in leisure activities (if I want to watch a B-grade horror movie instead of a rom-com, it's my call)
• Only one voice in personal decisions
• YOU decide what to do with the toilet seat.

Coupled

• Guaranteed companionship (and access to certain physical benefits thereof )
• A second opinion close at hand
• Complementary skills sets (e.g. in financial matters, Mrs. M bring her math sense, I bring my online research skills)
• Divide and conquer household chores

I was going to put something but couldn't decide what the sexual advantage of being single is. Freedom of choice?
