This is the fourth of our seven UU principles and one that is very near and dear to my heart. In fact, it is a big part of why I am UU.

I am curious, though, what others think of it. What does a "free and responsible search for truth and meaning" mean or suggest to you?

Sounds t'me like it encourages da UU peeps to seek & explore wherever it leads them & to always be aware that one's seeking & explorations & ideas generated from etc are one's own responsibility & that one's beliefs & actions do not exist in a causeless cause or vacuum state?
