One must really dig for the de tailings of the lieing place where we've fallen --- ave-c Luce NDs!

But a'lass ... we're not allowed to tell the painful truth ... and thus po' ET IHC archetype ... in side! Interspatial concerns ... remotely resembling thoughts ... denied by those pushing unconscious orders of crowds ... ho stile hosts ... þ' iggies as miss takes?

Almost like the aura following the tome cat ... Finnegan's Wake ... a stinking hermeneutic? If one follows unconscious rules blindly will one end up in the senate sensational or notorious? Keep it in between the pages ... the archetype of myth? dick's ie!

Is this true ? ...

One controversial treatment for children with gender dysphoria is the administration of drugs called hormone blockers to delay puberty. The practice is gaining traction without any scientific proof that it is appropriate or effective, and despite the evidence that it can be harmful:
  1. Most children with gender dysphoria will not remain gender dysphoric after puberty. [1]
  2. The FDA has not approved hormone blockers for use in transgender children—not even for experimental use.
  3. A search for one hormone blocker, Lupron, shows that people are reporting serious long-term, debilitating side effects from having used the drug.
Given these facts, why would anyone inject these drugs into children?

Doctors and parents want to help the child cope with the distress he or she is experiencing. Is relief of adolescent distress really worth the risk?

Most will grow out of the dysphoria. Isn't there some way to work through the distress other than experimenting on our children?

Hmmmmmm ....... imagine that ...... excellent cherry picking ... very very selective.....
Viewpoints like yours shows why laws are needed to protect vulnerable youth from the effects of such views

I would like to report here that TgInnerselves .... our Sudbury based transgender support group was the instigator and inspiration for Bill 77. Cheri DiNovo was here in Sudbury for a LGBTQ consultation session in February 2015 and I brought this up with the story of Leelah Alcorn. Cheri was so moved that she began work on this immediately.
A wonderful young man from our group ... Vincent ...... traveled to Toronto for the public consultation session on Wednesday.
He spoke so intelligently, eloquently, and passionately about the effects of conversion therapy and the need for this bill.
I am so very very proud of him and so very grateful for him .........
There was only one presenter that was against the bill and only weak debunked junk science and unsubstantiated fears were offered and the committee were not impressed.
.........
We were present at Queens Park in Toronto yesterday to witness the final vote for this becoming law.
Cheri DiNovo had us seated as special guests in the area reserved for that purpose.
We were acknowledged from the floor of the house and our names are now part of the permanent record and a tiny footnote in history.
It was a very moving experience for me .... very very moving indeed ..... I finally felt I had contributed to the plea by Leelah ... "Fix society please".....
The vote was unanimous ..... and the Minister for Corrective Services, Yasir Naqvi was the acting house leader for the day and spoke in favour. Afterwards he came out to meet us and has given me his card and has offered to help further the cause.
Ontario is now the very first province in Canada to enact such a law.
There are other provinces looking at the Ontario law and planning on doing the very same.
Change .... wonderful wonderful life saving change!!!!! ..... I am elated and inspired to do more! :)
Next on my agenda ..... for the fall ..... I will be approaching the churches and opening a dialogue.....

A well-deserved acknowledgement of you and your groups's role in it, Rita (y). I'm usually rather cynical about politics but the system seems to have actually worked in this case.

Too late for our church. We're having "the talk" this weekend, followed by a gay Christian guest the following weekend.

By "the talk" are you referring to a dialogue on transgendered issues Pontifex Geronimo? Will you be having any special guests join you for that theological reflection?

My own church is far off from having any such discussion.

I was seriously asking if this was true ... your constant mockery of my concerns are beginning to make me feel that you are a bit of a conversion therapist yourself ... wittingly or unwittingly ... I do not know ...

What I do know is that you have consistently reacted to my posts by trying to humiliate me into silence ... you seem to be an active supporter of "LGBT" agenda that under the guise of social justice and 'lifting' oppression from the persecuted few are in reality trying to forcefully convert the many through controlling the public discourse using the political tools of persuasion to control what the rest of society is allowed to think.

People such as myself that may be impeding this conversion conditioning are targeted with special venom and have extra hatred and anger directed towards them through corrupt democracies that use the "human rights" legislation to further intimidate dissenting citizens into submission. The LGBT cult and its supporters proclaim "homophobes" and "heterosexists" to be the problem and "hate crimes" and "transrights" legislation the solution. The craven and corrupt political masters of our nations agree and work with them to further their own agenda ... which to me appears to be focusing on total destruction of traditional familial structure.

I will add to this that ... when I was a child ... I was very adamant that I should have been born a boy ... I cried about it ... I fought with my parents about it .... I was teased and bullied about it ... I dressed like a boy and acted like a boy ... I was not taken to a conversion therapist but I was forced to wear dresses and constantly reprimanded to 'act like a lady' ... how grateful I am today to not have been subjected to the option of undergoing hormone therapy or radical surgical procedures to change my body ... I did then, and still do, act and dress like a male or female as I see fit. I do not judge or discriminate against people that do want to change their bodies to match their gender preference ... I would however caution against encouraging it as the only option and I do not support psychiatric conversions of any kind ...brainwashing and mind control ... very scary indeed!

Ok ... lets address a few of your points....
Am I a conversion therapist? ..... perhaps unwittingly? ...... hmmmmm ....... NO
Am I mocking you? ...... NO .... am I confronting your viewpoints and how they are expressed head on? .... YES
You feel I am attacking you ...... understandable .... often firm confrontation can seem that way.
Am I an active supporter of the LGBTQ agenda? ...... if you are referring to the struggle for equal and fair treatment ... YES indeed.
...and there you are off about corrupt democracies and whatnot ...... sorry .... not able to provide therapy for you there.
Now about your wonderful experience with conversion therapy.
I will leave your happy demeanor to speak for itself......
We agree that brainwashing of any type is repugnant and needs to be confronted.
Now to be clear ...... I am adamantly against Conversion Therapy in either direction.
I would be just as opposed to therapy that is trying to convince someone they are transgender just as vigorously as I do therapy that tries to impose denying and trying to convince someone they are not trans.
My position is that the person be given the neutral safe room to grow and learn and come to their own conclusions.

I don't know the content, but could post the links.

Since we are having the pope in a few weeks we have already have one of the popemobiles on loan, so any guests will be safe.
Pope Francis is perplexing and bewildering.....
On one hand he extends a hand that seems to hint of love.
Then he goes and compares the issue of transgenderism with the scourge of nuclear weapons.
And I thought Pope Benedict was the winner with comparing what I am to the dangers of the deforestation of the rainforest.
Always a new surprise to raise an eyebrow.....
Imagine how those poor catholic kids that are trans and hidden in the church feel when they hear that....
....just imagine.....

the state, which makes the laws, protect us from actions, not ideas

ideas are important -- they deserve to be protected from the state (and from other citizens trying to make laws that make them illegal)

that's what Human Rights are all aboot

not protection from being offended, but protection of ideas, of worldview, of belief, of lifestyle, so that we all can operate legally in the same group -- not all countries are here yet; hopefully we will get there

also be aware of your own desires and comfort and that of the information you receive -- just because UnDefinitive submitted that post, doesn't mean that people are going to be hurt by it -- that's a variation of the Beethoven's Fallacy -- magical thinking? remember, one of the purposes of WC is to discuss ideas -- ideas aren't actions. relax, take a deep breath, take yourself out of the way of yourself, move that plank a bit aside, and consider...or not, but don't confuse your plank or feelings with other people's problems? don't please don't develop a siege mentality, you're much too awesome for that :3

we are a scourge -- anyone who challenges centuries-old beliefs and social norms is a scourge to those beliefs (freedom of speech etc exposes people to ideas and maintenance of these old social norms, religions, etc, happens by restricting things like freedom of speech, making certain ideas illegal & blasphemous) -- and that challenge can just be by existing and thriving :3

humanity is dangerous and risky and i wouldn't have it any other way :3

i think where our society is heading towards is a more one-to-one way of living, where everyone is recognized as a unique individual, with their own lifestyle, beliefs, interests, religion, cultures, etc and that will be protected by Human Rights -- so say hello to our future ferro-Canadians, dolphin-Canadians & transpeciests :3

The time for dialogue is now

We don't have any transgendered youth RitaTG. I'm honestly not sure what we would do if one started coming out to church and youth group.

Can one speak with authority on things one hasn't experienced?

Possibly why AA works better than church on matters of excess spirit without soul ... not a thought allowed ... naïveté is best ... do the flames of excess passion melt away the thoughts in the Kohl poor ... mental, moral thing with ET'ics included ... like a tree of logic with internal cooling system ... hamadryad ... the icon of the medium of mind ... water, wadis, the fluid part coming out of the stone ... in extreme cases steamed ...

Po' ET'ichs are good for telling truth among people with corrupt desires ... since we are not allowed to tell the truth about corruption ... just doesn't appear compassionate ... so we let the plank of corruption go ... like a beam in the eye of the beholder.

The beholder repeats what was observed unless they stop and think about the general consequences to the social soul ... an odd coincidence or conscience ?

The operative word, Jae, in your sentence is "coming out". Why would it be someone from outside? What if someone in the church that you've known for years were to come out as transgender?

(Yes, I've been there. One of the IT team at my wife's faculty, who I knew when I was a student there in the eighties, went from "Charlie" to "Charlotte" a couple years ago. Because I don't see her regularly like Mrs. M does, I still forget about her transition sometimes.)

How do you know you don't have such a person Jae????
How do you know they are not there hiding in plain sight?
Probably like me they are holding that secretly in their heart and keeping the truth from you because they are afraid.
Consider that please
