Much better
Pierre Poilievre facing a “leadership review,” is not nearly as dramatic as the media is making it out to be.Right now, I suspect Poilievre is upping his game and trying to put on a good show because of the upcoming leadership review, though all evidence is that he will survive it barring some last minute push to oust him.

Is it not just a vote where party members decide whether to keep the leader after an election loss?
Poilievre didn’t “lose badly” if under his leadership conservatives increased their seat count and share of the popular vote to over 41 percent.
Poilievre, if I hear him correctly, says that inflation is crushing families today, and cannot be managed by academic jargon. He talks about productivity, wages, and cost of living like someone who understands that people are tapped out. That resonates with me because IMO politics should be about fixing what is broken now not breaking things now to manage future model projections.
Mark Carney's future-facing focus on climate models, global frameworks, long horizon risks conveniently benefits people who are already winning not those worried about making rent, affording groceries, or helping your kids ever own a home.
The tomorrow problems of future-focused policies tend to line the pockets of the same consultants, funds, and institutions Carney has spent his career around. That doesn’t make him evil - it does make him disconnected.
That said, I have no vested interest in supporting any party or leader of any party in Canada.
If I did have a vote to give it would be a yes to Alberta Independence.
Why? Washington DC is even further than Ottawa. Trump will give Albertans their same pension as they get under Canada? If I did have a vote to give it would be a yes to Alberta Independence.
The referendum question central to the independence movement and related discussions, is:Why?
All Non issues when negotiating Alberta Independence.Washington DC is even further than Ottawa. Trump will give Albertans their same pension as they get under Canada?
Will Trump give enough disaster money to put out forest fires or just throw towels or turn on a bigly tap? You'd be willing to give up your right to vote if he becomes a dictator? You want to pay for your healthcare? Lots of questions, do separatists even know whats been promised if they separate and at the same time realize that Trump's campaign promises have not been kept.....
Dictatorships seem to be the height of losing ones Freedom IMO.
I don't really know what promises he's made.....what are they?
At last count, your IP resolved to Manitoba. Specifically, somewhere near Steinbach. No, you don't get to help break up the country, wannabe traitor.IF I had a vote to give - it would be a Yes - IF I had a vote to give.
