I knew there was a big difference here in number of daylight hours in the summer vs winter. They compared solstice dates on the news today though and I was a bit surprised by the difference. More than 9.5 hr difference, more than double the current daylight hours.
Not as extreme as some areas, but still big difference!
 
Family party at my sister Kae's house last night. I was really impressed with gift she gave her husband. He's trombone player, and she gave him floor lamp that she had someone custom craft outlets trombone.

But some will not say they can't stand figgy duff ... fruitcake gathering or social crazies that enjoy everything offered ... somehow ... even thro' a white lyre ... hard to be perfect in accepting the gifts from everywhere and everything right?

I don't like Brussels sprouts but would eat eM as a guest without a whimper of complaint about the gift!
 
Survived the appointment marathon today and even managed to get some Christmas hugs before I arrived back home - 8.5 hrs after I left.
