Hi airclean33 your quote ------No Sister,
I have not the mind of man .
For Christ is changing my mine to His.
He that has come from above has changed my mind to be in line with GOD . I am a born again
So here airclean33 bear with me -----you have made 2 statements here ---have you not ------
For Christ is changing my mine to His --- here you say Christ is changing -----then you say ----He that has come from above has changed my mind to be in line with GOD . ---He has changed my mind -----
So here is the thing ---what is your belief on this ----this is important airclean33 as this will show your belief that you are free from sin in mind and spirit and will stop the badgering from the others about you saying you do not sin --------your belief is yours and you should be able to express your beliefs without being told your are wrong in that belief ----all of us have different beliefs and they are expressed ----are they wrong not to that person -- God will be the judge on that when we meet Him ----your sin belief should be no different ------ I think clarifying your belief is the issue -------
Do you believe that--- your spirit and soul are separate or all one ---cause in the first statement you say ---is changing ---so that says to me it is not fully changed yet which means Satan still has access to put thoughts contrary to God's word in your mind and that your Soul is separate from your Spirit ------then in the latter statement you say he Has already changed your mind to be in line with His ------this to me says that you believe that your Spirit and Soul are the same not separate -------
It would make sense to me that if in fact you believe your Spirit and Soul are one in the same that you would believe that when you are born again from above that both your spirit and soul would be in line with God -------but here you have 2 statements that are confusing your real belief ----
This is what the Bible says which is God in my view on the Spirit --Soul And Body ------which are divided --the word says ------so they are not the same --they are separate ---and that the word is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart -----and shows that we are a tri part being ---the joints and marrow are our body -----
Hebrews 4:12New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For
the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
So your view on where you are in your thinking of the Spirit and Soul is important in others understanding your take on sin -----
The Bible continues to tell us to renew our minds in Romans ---we already have the Holy Spirit so if God changes our thinking when He changes our Spirit then why does He talk about renewing our mind -------

Question: "How can I have the mind of Christ?"
Answer:In
1 Corinthians 2:16, Paul quotes
Isaiah 40:13and then makes a statement concerning all believers: “We have the mind of Christ.” Having the mind of Christ means sharing the plan, purpose, and perspective of Christ, and it is something that all believers possess.
Having the mind of Christ means we understand God’s plan in the world—to bring glory to Himself, restore creation to its original splendor, and provide salvation for sinners. It means we identify with Christ’s purpose “to seek and to save what was lost” (
Luke 19:10). It means we share Jesus’ perspective of humility and obedience (
Philippians 2:5-8), compassion (
Matthew 9:36), and prayerful dependence on God (
Luke 5:16).
In the verses leading up to
1 Corinthians 2:16, we note some truths concerning the mind of Christ:
1) The mind of Christ stands in sharp contrast to the wisdom of man (verses 5-6).
2) The mind of Christ involves wisdom from God, once hidden but now revealed (verse 7).
3) The mind of Christ is given to believers through the Spirit of God (verses 10-12).
4) The mind of Christ cannot be understood by those without the Spirit (verse 14).
5) The mind of Christ gives believers discernment in spiritual matters (verse 15).
In order to have the mind of Christ, one must first have saving faith in Christ (
John 1:12;
1 John 5:12). After salvation, the believer lives a life under God’s influence.
The Holy Spirit indwells and enlightens the believer, infusing him with wisdom—the mind of Christ.
The believer bears a responsibility to yield to the Spirit’s leading (Ephesians 4:30) and to allow the Spirit to transform and renew his mind (Romans 12:1-2).
Your belief is your belief ------we part ways on this issue ------The Bible says there are 3 types of man ---Natural ----worldly ---Carnal Man --born again but still fleshy ----this word when looked up means --a way of thinking still worldly in thinking Soul is not yet lined up with the New Spirit---
Spiritual Man ----body --mind and spirit are lined up ----only one man succeeded so far ---- in my book ----Jesus Christ ---we can work toward being Mature in Spirit but we will be hard pressed to reach the Goal this is just my view ------to get there we have to keep all weeds out of our thoughts ---Satan is very powerful in keeping us at bay from fully understanding and accomplishing our Spiritual man goal -----
So if your belief is that God changed your Spirit and mind at the same time then you truly believe you have surpassed the Carnal man and have matured to the last man ------I personally am still in the Carnal man state but work every day to get beyond it ------
SPIRITUAL MAN---read all here ----great article on the 3 types of man --http://www.midnightcry.org/pubs/books/dfd/three_types.htm
The spiritual man is one who has grown up in spiritual things and is more under the control and influence of the Spirit and Word of God than he is the flesh, his spirituality, of course, depending on the degree of growth and development.
Those who are spiritual have presented their bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.
They have consequently been transformed by the renewing of their minds whereby they are able to know what is that good and perfect and acceptable will of God. Rom. 12:1-2.
It is the renewed mind of the spiritual man that enables him to discern good on one hand and evil on the other. Heb. 5:14. A common ruse or deception that Satan uses on the natural man and the carnal Christian will not work against one that is spiritual.
He alone is capable of walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. Galatians 5:16.
The spiritual man alone can say of Satan “...we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Cor. 2:11.
God Bless Brother ---we just think different on this subject -----
