Others in the house could help. Our dryer has stopped working and now my poor yobo has to hang everything up to dry.![]()
How is this a bad thing? We usually hang most of our laundry to dry - sometimes outside, sometimes in the basement. Our dryer has stopped working and now my poor yobo has to hang everything up to dry.![]()
My sons and I help by putting our dirty clothes into the laundry room hamper for her. She takes it from there. On Monday I'll call for repairs.Others in the house could help.
I actually do little in the dryer, sheets, towels, certain PJs.
Hopefully the dryer is an easy fix though, think like towels take a long time to dry without one!
It isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is a thing which takes more work. We aren't helping her all that much because it's one of her household jobs. Still, I can't help but feel it's unfair she has to do it all.How is this a bad thing? We usually hang most of our laundry to dry - sometimes outside, sometimes in the basement.
And why aren't you helping if it's such a big job??
Dryers can often be easily repaired without a service call if you're at all so inclined - my husband has replaced various parts on ours over the years - heating coil, drum belt etc. Youtube has lots of helpful videos.
Seriously? I hope you are trying to be funny. My sons and I help by putting our dirty clothes into the laundry room hamper for her. She takes it from there. On Monday I'll call for repairs.
She considers that a genuine help Pinga, because before she asked us to start doing that, we just used to throw them wherever in the floor. Anyway, back to your vibe.Seriously? I hope you are trying to be funny.
On the other hand don't want to ruin the room vibe.
Shifting vibe.
I was going to keep quiet about it until later, but I brought it up.@ChemGal , I know you have been planning and prepping for this event...but, I am not sure that I know much about it. How many people? All family? Is it a special type of event that requires special types of food? You were mentioned fillings...is part of it perogies or something like that?
Thinking it sounds interesting.
Damn jae, you tell lies all the time.
This is suppose to be a calm place. Go away,Jae.
yup, i have it at home. Forgot to pick up distilled water and not interested in going back out, so will wait until tomorrow to start it. I am hoping the next week will be enough for me to get used to it. I know based on what I have been told, that I will sleep better, and sleep better is important for healing, restoration. (shucks, even crossfit tells us we MUST get lots of sleep in order for muscle and body repair to occur). Her point was that some people starting cancer treatment find that it is too much to take on , and so have returned it...I am hoping that I will be able to get ahead of it and be reasonably comfortable with it.
