apparently there was a small earthquake here today-we missed it sitting out on a patio at a restaurant I bet it's not the last quake for BC

wow, a M 2.5 east of Penticton up on the hillside North of Beaverdell Rd @ 0 km depth 49.490 N 119.491 W* -- the OK valley is part of a fault complex, running down the middle of the valley

the different types of faults -- the OK valley one is a Normal or dip-slip fault (yes OK, you're dippy) -- the West side (the 'hanging wall' part of the fault) is the bit that is slipping down past the East side (the 'footwall' part of the fault) -- its this movement that causes the earthquakes

*on google earth i see just east of that a looong road leading north to a complex of roads with vehicles & trucks, even a pond? i wonder what that is?

Another fine issue BethAnne. I love the great quotes you have throughout, the Lincoln and Tolle quotes definitely resonated with me. As for the chewing, I wonder if that applies to chewing tobacco...baseball players seem to have plenty of energy!

Thanks @You just never know. Never thought about it, however, I'm not sure chewing tobacco counts as one shouldn't really be swallowing it.
