Fathers day why rush holidays. It will get here. Second year in a row I will be with my Dad that day. Just because for the 2nd year in a row he is in my province.

Rather than be policed in by convention Tabitha, we let ourselves be free to celebrate special days when we want to celebrate them.

Christmas in July, for example? Actually, if you're not good at remembering birthdays and anniversaries, that technique can come in really handy. The LAST thing you can afford to do is miss a birthday or anniversary.

@Pr.Jae ...

bethanne - I'm a busy man, a very busy man. So I'm just catching up on my mail.
1. Take your computer to a small, independent computer shop, and tell them to open it. (Do not use a home visit service. You don't need it; and they're way too expensive.
or
2. Have a chat with your local AA branch.

3. Do NOT discuss, over and over, your mattress to an audience of strange men, of whom one of the strangest is Prjae.
and
4. you might want to discuss your mattress obsession with AA.

I think that Tabitha ought to make a beautiful quilt as an early Christmas present for RevJohn so that the good Reverend can get some much-needed sleep.

You are suggesting that Tabitha become a quilt for Rvjohn? Your church must have very liberal views on these matters.

Your post reminds me of 1 Kings 1:1-4...

"Now King David was old. He had lived many years. They covered him with clothes, but he could not keep warm. So his servants said to him, 'Let a young woman who has never had a man be found for my lord the king. Let her help the king and become his nurse. And let her lie in your arms, that my lord the king may be warm.' So they looked through all the land of Israel for a beautiful girl, and found Abishag the Shunammite. And they brought her to the king. The girl was very beautiful. She became the king’s nurse and helped him. But the king did not have sex with her" - (NLV)

Hah! But it does not say WHY he didn't have sex with her. Remember, he was very, very old. And he may have been transgendered.
Do the doctors who attend your church prescribe beautiful nurses to lie with elderly men that they may be warm?
