There is a real changing-of-the-guard moment happening. My father was such a dominant figure in the family. Not now. We used to argue over how to best do anything. He came from a carpentry background and I'm obviously a dumbass engineer. So I'm used to him doing a lot of maintenance items in the background, without my help, partly because I'd do it wrong.

Well now he's not doing the maintenance, nor is he telling me what needs to be done. So I'm on the hunt for stuff before s**t breaks. The water filter, for example, I just realized, probably hasn't been changed in a long time. I did it with him once or twice over 10 years. I guess I'll figure it out.

A couple years ago I changed the pump in the well. Not for the claustrophobic. The last time my dad did it in the 90s, he used a torch to soften the plastic pipe to remove the old one. Propane had leaked from the cylinder and when he lit the torch, the explosion took his eyebrows off. When I did it, I decided to use an electric heat gun, thus retaining my ability to look surprised.

But that was one of the last things he instructed me to do. Now he doesn't remember what needs done. Kinda sucks.

Time changes everything especially when everything is searching for power instead of some knowledge ...like a wooden nose somewhere ... root of knowledge? Powers hate that search ... it's a bummer ...

Does the search for power involve some head for the descent into dark spots as pixels go? When many would sooner avoid the details that add up to the process of ups and downs creating waves? Thus a great head for power is a much prone to conversion as those on the bottom line as gritty parts may rise as storms in the desert to wear down mountains ...
When one considers things like this to be as chewed over as they seem to be ... is the effort worth it for eschatological ends ... just fertilizer for something else coming down the mysterious pathways of time? What do we do with such mysteries other than observe if the thing has an effect?

Good morning! Friday is here, in this area, cool, clouded over, and likely rain. However, here in the Room it's warm, dry, and comfy. Yesterday was busy, dealing with family issues and will-writing. for those of us dealing with family, we offer thoughts and prayers for patience, wisdom, and love; thise dealing with legacy issues, we look for care and consideration.
We meet again around our Coffee Cart, not only for refreshments, but also for conversation, moral support, and community. We do this over tea and coffee, and the products of the Wonderbaker, who this morning has provided bear claws for us to enjoy. The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the bear claws are warm from the oven. All is ready, and everyone is welcome. Come and get it!!

Why is it that some of us can exchange our observations peacefully and other attempt to reject so much as bad opinion when perhaps they've never experienced such restrictive statue regarding reaching out ... is it just to obtain head (power) as we sometimes see Peter Prin. functioning ... to generate errs for the fringe to observe ... ratty fringes? Thus threads fail and drift off ... as strings of thought in a desert storm ... dervish?

I believe I've seen a few ... like phantoms ... weird untouchable thing just beyond the gravid lens ... what I retain? Misty items ... sometimes experienced around the fall of water ... wherever ... even mainstream in the marketplace! Then we leave it because of gravid function against additional (collected) info ... accrued? Mental condition as Satchmo declared about soul ... yah have to ask first! Like yah have to know where something is heading ...

Some despise knowing ... anything ... thus the darkness of the core ... as one looks out ...

Imagine 3 sisters ... with a fourth ... maleficent? It is like time travel only in the mind, soul, psyche triad if you can grasp it ...

Some say it is an abstract concept beyond the realists ... a window on heaven allowing escape ...

Good morning! Saturday has arrived, and hereabouts the sun will rise in about 15 minutes. It will also likely rain here. Hope your weather's better.
We gather round the Coffee Cart once more, for shat, support, and connection; sounds like the play "Come From Away' is still very popular. The performance, as well as whatever comes to mind today, shapes our conversation over tea, coffee, and the Wonderbaker's offerings. This morning we have a lovely apple crisp, with ice cream to top it, if desired.
The tea water is boiling, the coffee is fresh brewed, and the crisp is warm from the oven. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join in the chat!

We gather together for shat... and suddenly I'm questioning the meeting agenda

Grandson's football team won the regional championship for their division last night. I watched the game on line. He's not a star player, but he is a big guy that looks pretty scary to the other team! And he does make some key tackles. A little hard lately because he is playing with a cast on his right hand. (Yes! Allowed to play with a cast on.)They play a really top team next Saturday. I just hope no one gets hurt. This year was considered to be a not so good football year for their team...many past members gave up on it and didn't even join up in the fall. But the ones who did show up sure showed heart.
