Changing the name of Lake Ontario could be quite a battle if the President really tries it. The name is derived from the Wendat indigenous nation's word meaning "Great Lake" and goes back centuries. The Iroquois nations had a different name but nothing like "America" for sure. So he's up against probably 400 or more years of history here. My bet is, he tries but only US government maps ever acknowledge it and it gets changed back even for them as soon as he is gone. Here, we will just carry on carrying on with the proper name.
